The Grien Gourmet & Panorama Hotel is located in Ortisei, Val Gardena. The ski resort of Val Gardena – since the end of the XIX century it was already a destination for the first skiing tourists, in 1970 there has been the World Ski Championship and today the Super-G and the men’s downhill are still taking place here on the very well known “Saslong” run. Some numbers show the infinitive possibilities of this skiing district: the Dolomites Superski is the world biggest district with its 460 lift facilities and more than 1,200 km of runs. Only the area including Val Gardena-Alps of Siusi offers 84 lift facilities and 176km of runs, from the baby runs to the World Cup black runs. The district is very well known also for the very good conditions of its runs – from the beginning of December to late spring.

Sellaronda is a special experience, the ski tour around the Sella Massif: 26 km of runs offering an always different view of the Dolomites, the tour can take different directions and becoming longer. Val Gardena most beautiful thing is with no doubt the perfect links offered by the lift facilities, for example the “Gherdeina Skiring“, not so known as Sellaronda but not less exciting, it takes you in one day from Seceda along the Saslong run up to the Piz Sella or Dantercepies.
