Skiing in Arabba
Arabba is a small, traditional resort perfect for a quiet skiing holiday in the spectacular Dolomites - especially for expert skiers. Located in the Fodom Valley and surrounded by a good number of mountain passes, Arabba has more than its fair share of challenging pistes and offers access to the Marmolada glacier and much more skiing elsewhere in the Dolomiti Superski region.
There are several options to consider when choosing where to go skiing in Arabba. A series of intermediate and advanced runs can be found just above the village beneath the Porta Vescovo, with the Marmolada accessible from here. Keep ascending and you’ll get to some good long red and black runs, as well as amazing views.
If you fancy having a go at the Sella Ronda, you can take a couple of cable cars towards Canazei from Arabba. This route offers access to the Val Mezdi run, which is well-known for its trickiness. Alternatively, you can head for Alta Badia and Corvara and ski the Sella Ronda that way.
While Arabba itself doesn’t offer access to cross-country trails, there are plenty to be found elsewhere in the Dolomiti Superski area.
